Frequently asked questions about wedding photography services and packages

• When are you available?

You will receive the detailed information about my availability once you contact me via  email  and send a request for a wedding brochure. Normally it takes me to respond to any enquiries within 24 hours.

• What happens after I’ve booked you?

Wonderful! It means you trust me with your big day and I am happy to do my best for you. The next important step is to sign a contract which is the assurance that I will cover your day.

• Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes. To make sure that the date will work for both of us you are required to pay a deposit (Euros) once both parties have signed the contract.

• What is the next step?

After you have booked the date, you will be sent a booking questionnaire. Once I get all the necessary information from you, it will help me to work out a detailed plan for your day.

• Is it necessary to meet you before the actual day?

It would be lovely to meet a bridal couple for an engagement shoot which is a perfect way to get to know each other and help you both feel easy in front of the camera.  Anyway, it doesn’t mean that you are supposed to book me for more. To get to know each other better, we can meet in the Algarve at the location convenient for both of us. Alternatively, we can Skype as a lot of my couples live overseas.

• What happens when the big day comes?

Before your big day we will have already discussed all the details through the day’s timeline, so we will have made all the arrangements about the place and the time that will work for both of us.

I particularly love the vibrant morning preparation to be photographed in a natural way. This makes you feel relaxed and enjoy your time with all your girls or guys, without being concerned about having to pose.

Though all weddings have many things in common, each one has something special and surprising that makes it unforgettable. But you will know exactly what to expect from me as we will have already discussed all things beforehand so there’ll be no miscommunication or surprises.

• What is your style and approach?

My approach is a fusion of photojournalistic and magazine styles, which is a combination of capturing candid moments of the day and sophisticated posing during one-to-one session. Photojournalistic style is about observing and capturing, but at some pre-arranged points of the day, I will gently and efficiently direct you and your loved ones into beautifully composed family pictures. I will make sure everyone will look their best on your big day.

• What if I hate getting my photo taken and posing?

As a professional I have got some prompts to put you a relaxed and jolly mood so that to get you and your loved ones to feel easy in front of my camera. I believe once you are comfortable with a professional like me, your experience of being photographed will seem effortless, easy and fun. It’s more about playing and being together rather than being made to pose.

• Do you take family pictures?

Yes, of course. Once again, we will have talked beforehand about exactly what you want to get with your photos. As for your group pictures, I would suggest creating group lists to make sure all your loved ones are photographed with you.

• When can I have my photos done?

You can have your photos done in four – six weeks after your wedding day, depending on time of the year. They will be delivered on a USB in a beautiful presentation box. Also you will be able to download them from your personal online gallery.

• How long are my photos stored on your back-up system?

Your photos will be stored for six months on my system, so I would highly recommend couples to back up their photos as many times as possible as well as print them out. I would also recommend you to come back to me within the first year with your selection of photographs to create your wedding album.

• What happens if you are not able to shoot my wedding?

I give you my word that if for some reason I will not be able to shoot your wedding I will find for you a replacement photographer of equal or better standard than myself. No need to worry about this. If my replacement is not satisfactory, I guarantee you will have the deposit money back.

• Where are you located?

I am currently based in the Algarve, Portugal in a coastal town of Quarteira. I am familiar with the Algarve region quite well and I could suggest a lot of stunning locations for fantastic photo sessions.

• Do you travel abroad for weddings / events?

I do travel abroad for weddings, engagement shoots, commercial work and NGO work.

• Do I pay extra if I hire you to travel to a foreign location?

Yes, you pay for my transportation costs, visas, and accommodation on either side of the event. I am fully insured to shoot your special event in any location worldwide. Depending on the destination and flight time, extra costs may incur. Please contact me directly for more information.

• How much does it cost to hire you as my wedding photographer?

 Wedding photography investment for a Full Day coverage starts at € 990, Full Day means approximately eight hours of photography service.  It means I will be with you from morning preparation until the dinner bell. However, I can be flexible with prices depending on the number of guests, location, special requests, etc. Please contact me via  email  or  Messenger  and I’ll send you my wedding brochure, where it says about costs, extras, and album details.

All my clients receive a USB with fully edited images from the day. These are print quality, and logo free. Feel free to print out the images yourself and create your own album, or send copies to friends and family.
