Engagement Photographer Algarve

Algarve is considered one of the best places in Europe to have your engagement photos. This summer we had many couples travelling from the USA, Canada and UK to the Southern coast of Portugal and looking for an engagement photographer to capture both their holiday and their love for each other.

These are some photos from Nicole and Billy engagement photosession during their visit of Lagoa and famous beach Praia de Marinha.

We chose early morning time for the photoshoot to get the best lighting showing the perfect blue sky and turquoise ocean under magnificent golden cliffs, and also to avoid the crowds on the beach.

Engagement sessions

I absolutely love engagement sessions! They are always so much fun and it’s a perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other better and for you both to get comfortable in front of my camera before the wedding day.

I truly believe engagement sessions make better wedding photos, they act as a practice round: I’ll learn more about the ways you naturally interact with your relationship and you learn how to pose and flirt organically on camera, then on the big day you’ll be pros!

Details

A typical engagement session lasts about 60-90min. We meet up at a location of your choice (I can offer lots of recommendations in the Algarve region) a few hours before sunset we call this golden hour and the lighting is nothing short of magical. Most often I shoot outdoors in nature, but if there is a particular place or style that is special to your relationship, let me know. The sessions are super casual and relaxed and I’ll direct you the whole way through and make sure you are 100% comfortable and looking your absolute best!
